sights around the neighborhood in Cuzco… I was so excited to wake up this morning and go out and take photos..the air was crisp, the light was right, and people were so friendly. I got stopped several times just for good old conversation. (and of course I was down to use my Spanish! what a welcoming community! muy amable.
my home for the last week or so,
you were more than I imagined… freezing cold…high altitude…sooper scenic (I’ll post pictures of some of the amazing views soon) great food, the sweetest people, alpacas everywhere, and lots and lots of sick patterns 💕
let’s go back! now!
happy day of birth to the one for whom i have the most love…knowing you has made life THAT much more amazing. you’ve got the biggest heart. such a beautiful soul all around.. thank you for being! and i look forward to all of the adventures (local and abroad) to come. 💕💋
sate babi or (pork skewers)
one of my favorite meals I had in Indonesia…i also tried sate ayam (chicken) and kambing (lamb) during my stay there.. these little mobile “warungs” were exciting! for one we never knew where they were located in the cities, we would just drive by and feel lucky to find ‘em…they are very cheap, tastey, and stomach safe because they cook it right in front of you..it comes with rice plus this special sauce and hot sauce combo that can leave your mouth on fire. hati hati! (be careful) right now she’s fanning the coals to keep the fire hot.
